there’s been a certain burning smell in the air for the past hour or so but no one seems to be too concerned.
one of the chinese girls from accounting just walked past our office and commented quite appropriately (but to no one in particular), ‘why does it smell like burning-ness?!’

sometimes, i check my faux identity out and can’t help but shake my head in disbelief and appreciate the wittiness of it all.
